Sustainable Product Design Consultant

 

Eddie Chang, as a product development consultant, he drives to be the influencer to provide clients new product design solutions of technology innovation and sustainability development. 

With the past experience in MINIWIZ working with global leading brands (i.e.: Nike, W Taipei and Jackie Chan), currently Eddie and his team are collaborating with diversified clients from global leading consumer goods company to local brands.

Eddie believes it is the responsibility of this generation to design with sustainability in mind; practicing principles such as life cycle analysis, 3R, and post-consumer materials usage helps advocate a mature design attitude tackling real-world problems that should no longer be ignored.

With a Master Degree from Chang Gung University in Industrial Design, Eddie has represented Taiwan at the prestigious California Art Center College of Design after gaining the Art & Design Elite scholarship program.

Prior to Miniwiz, Eddie has gained multi-faceted industrial design experience from working with reputable companies such as Philips Taiwan, AUO, and Advantech. Eddie has also worked with HP’s out-of-box project in Art Center College of Design and with Professor Hsieh to help Chang Gung Memorial Hospital develop a modular designed ER Medical Cart that is currently sold globally. Because of his wide array of experience, Eddie’s key specialty accentuates with his ability to work and manage local manufacturers, whilst coordinating with the high-in demand needs of international based brands and clients.
